Guide to brewing French Press

The true origins of the french press remain elusive. Because of its name people assume it was invented in France and that may be true however the first patent for the press was registered in Italy by Attilio Calimani and Giulio Moneta.


Equipment needed: French press, kettle, grinder (Optional)

Standard Ratio: 1:12 - 1:15

Grind Setting: Coarse - Coffee grounds should be generally the size of Sea Salt

Water Temperature: 200 Degrees
